wish we could get it back to how it was 5-6 years ago but I doubt we'll ever get back to that. Theres too many of these stay away fans who were hear for the relegation season, and then picked their games in the Championship when they heard we were playing well and on a good run, only to come and start moaning because Blues are having an off day, thinking that this is how they play all the time now so again stay away and then criticise whenever they come! |

Bruce wants the intimidatimg atmosphere back, imo, apart from Vile games and the odd match i dont really think St Andrews is intimidating but on the other hand what ground is these days?? You can hear a pin drop at most of them including Old Trafford, |

intimidating atmosphere went down the pan after the club sent eltters to all season tickets holders to not stand up during the game [first seaosn in prem] then the massive season ticket hikes over 3 yrs really pushed out quite a few fans and we inherited the prawn sandwich brigade who were better at sniggering and being cynical rather than singing |

Lets all stand up on Wednesday night. Lets all sing for 90 mins. Lets jeer every Sunderland mistake. Lets cheer every thing Blues do. Come on, you might even enjoy it :lager: :Blues: |

You stand up, you get ejected, simple as. I mean i'd loved too but i would only do it if everyone in the Tilton did. |

To be honest the only place's that would accomedate standing is the Tilton Road, which we should because it's our "Home End" and thats where the songs and chants start from and also the Railway End next to the away fans who will always stand. If everyone stands no one can do anything, just remember that, were the most important part of this club bar none. |

The atmosphere has gone because to most Blues fans we achieved our biggest goal when we got proamoted first time round to prem. We fought for many years in that divison and the fans played a big part. Now we have achieved that goal most of the 'here for the ride fans' couldnt care less anymore. Everyone is to expectant. |

thats the spirit  bruce is spot on... I think we all loved that first season and second was pretty much the same!! I remember an ashley cole interview after a game and he said I don't know what I have done to these fans but they make it a horrible place to play and really made my life a misery!! we need that back |

Sounds like a lot of excuses to me. If you have to ask people to do what they should be doing anyway you're on a loser!! Different era, different fans. In "the good old days", fans didn't set out to create an atmosphere, it happened automatically, the fans didn't control the atmosphere, the atmosphere controlled the fans. The sad thing is, that in those days we had a lot less to shout about. Perhaps this is football mirrowing society?!! |

http://petitions.pm.gov.uk/BhamStadium/ If the team do the right things on the pitch then a natural result will be the return of an intimidating atmosphere  |

Examples of safe standing creating an intimidating atmosphere: Watford Play-Offs 1998-1999 = Tilton standing great atmosphere Ipswich Town - LCSF 2000-2001 = Tilton standing great atmosphere arston viler - Prem 2002-2003 = Tilton standing great atmosphere. No real coincidence really is it, people seem to forget that fans have the power. If the fans in the Tilton stood the whole game what can the authorites do? What, stop the match and wait until everone is seated or else they would abandon it, no. It's a shame people are so scared these days, i mean we're treated like idiots, cattle and also children, i mean pay £30 plus for a ticket and your basiclly told to sit down and shut up or else, it's a sad turn of affairs for Blues and English Football as a whole. If Bruce cared so much about the atmosphere why doesnt he come out and support safe standing? |

Thats why I said ALL. i realise that you cant be the one person standing when everyone sits, but if the whole Tilton stands, the stewards wont do anything. There are times in matches we do stand, even last season, towards the end of some games we stood for 10-15 mins, creating an electric atmosphere - but we need that again but for the whole match. |

:applause: I'm for standing the whole match if it gets the fans going. I think having certain players help as well. For example Muamba got the crowd going a little last season. As long as we have a fighting spirit team, we'll have a fighting spirit group of fan. Blues as an organisation need to chill a little as well. Having SkyDaz as the stadium announcer got the crowd going a little- they need to stop being so corporate and bring the brummie humour back! BTW the last two interviews on Blues world by Sads, Kelly and Black have been better. While there was a level of professionalism to their interview, they still cracked a few jokes to lighten it. Keep it up guys! **thumbup |

Its the same at away games, pretty much everyone stands but its becoming harder because of the stewards. Places like Liverpool are terrible they dont give you a minutes peace 'Sit down mate, sit down'. |

I've said before that if people were to stand throught the whole match, I would have to stop going, due to a chronic back problem. This is what has stopped me going to away matches. However, I am all in favour of dedicated standing areas, as long as the seating areas remain as places to sit. By that, I don't mind when people jump up to celebrate a goal, because I do that myself, but I just would not be able to stand for the whole match. |
